1. Overview
SOHO TAB is a bilingual Chrome new-tab productivity extension for web search, focus, daily planning, world clocks, exchange-rate reference and practical international-trade calculations.
SOHO TAB does not operate a developer-controlled data collection server. User-created content and preferences are stored locally in Chrome and are not sold, used for advertising or used to build user profiles.
2. Information handled by the extension
Information stored locally
SOHO TAB uses chrome.storage.local to store shortcut names, URLs and order; quick notes; tasks and due dates; user-created trade events; focus-timer state; selected world clocks; language, theme and widget preferences; and cached public exchange-rate data. This information remains in the user's Chrome profile and is not transmitted to the developer or an analytics service.
Web searches
When a user submits the search box, the query is passed to Chrome's Search API and opened with the user's current default search provider. SOHO TAB does not change that provider and does not store or transmit the query to the developer. The selected search provider may process it under its own privacy policy.
Exchange-rate requests
SOHO TAB requests public reference-rate JSON data from https://api.frankfurter.dev/. No notes, tasks, shortcuts, search queries, calendar events or personal identifiers are included. The service may receive standard network information such as IP address, request time and user-agent information under its own policies.
Chrome Bookmark Manager
The Bookmarks button opens Chrome's built-in Bookmark Manager. SOHO TAB does not request the bookmarks permission and does not read, modify or collect Chrome bookmarks.
3. Information not collected
SOHO TAB does not collect browsing or search history, visited-page content, cookies, authentication credentials, email, contacts, personal files, precise location, payment, financial or health information, advertising identifiers, analytics, telemetry or crash reports.
4. Permissions
- storage — stores settings and user-created content locally.
- search — submits a user-entered query through Chrome's current default search provider.
- https://api.frankfurter.dev/* — retrieves public reference exchange-rate data.
5. Sharing, sale and advertising
SOHO TAB does not sell user data, share user-created content with third parties, use it for personalized advertising or unrelated profiling, or allow humans to read it. Searches are handled directly by Chrome and the user's default search provider. The only external feature request made by SOHO TAB is the public exchange-rate request described above.
6. Retention and deletion
Local information remains until the user removes it. It can be deleted through Settings → Privacy & data → Clear all local data. Uninstalling the extension also removes its local extension storage according to Chrome's behavior.
7. Security
All extension JavaScript is packaged with the extension. SOHO TAB does not download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. Exchange-rate requests use HTTPS.
Limited Use disclosure: SOHO TAB's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension's disclosed user-facing features and is not used for advertising or transferred for unrelated purposes.
8. Policy changes and contact
This policy may be updated when SOHO TAB's features or data practices change. The effective date will be revised and material changes disclosed when required. For privacy questions, use the developer contact or support channel shown on the SOHO TAB Chrome Web Store listing.
SOHO TAB 隐私政策
1. 概述
SOHO TAB 是一款中英双语 Chrome 新标签页效率扩展，提供网页搜索、专注计时、日常计划、世界时钟、参考汇率和实用外贸计算工具。SOHO TAB 不运营由开发者控制的数据收集服务器。用户创建的内容和偏好仅保存在 Chrome 本地，不会被出售、用于广告或建立用户画像。
2. 扩展处理的信息
SOHO TAB 使用 chrome.storage.local 保存快捷网站、笔记、待办、贸易日历事件、专注状态、世界时钟、界面偏好和缓存的公开汇率。这些信息不会发送给开发者或分析服务。
用户搜索时，搜索词由 Chrome Search API 交给用户当前的默认搜索服务。SOHO TAB 不更改默认搜索服务，也不保存搜索词或将其发送给开发者。
汇率组件会从 https://api.frankfurter.dev/ 请求公开 JSON 数据，不会发送笔记、待办、快捷网站、搜索词、日历事件或个人身份信息。该服务可能按照自身政策接收 IP 地址、请求时间和 User-Agent 等标准网络信息。
“书签”按钮只打开 Chrome 内置书签管理器。SOHO TAB 不申请书签权限，也不读取、修改或收集 Chrome 书签。
3. 不收集的信息
SOHO TAB 不收集浏览记录、搜索历史、网页内容、Cookie、身份验证信息、邮件、联系人、个人文件、精确位置、支付、金融或健康信息、广告标识符、分析、遥测或崩溃报告。
4. 权限用途
- storage — 在 Chrome 本地保存设置和用户创建的内容。
- search — 通过 Chrome 当前默认搜索服务提交用户主动输入的搜索词。
- https://api.frankfurter.dev/* — 获取公开参考汇率数据。
5. 共享、出售和广告
SOHO TAB 不出售用户数据，不与第三方分享用户创建的内容，不将其用于个性化广告或无关画像，也不允许人员阅读这些内容。网页搜索由 Chrome 和默认搜索服务处理；SOHO TAB 唯一主动发起的外部功能请求是公开汇率请求。
6. 保留、删除与安全
用户可以通过 设置 → 隐私与数据 → 清除全部本地数据 删除本地信息。卸载扩展时，Chrome 也会按照浏览器机制清除扩展本地存储。扩展的全部 JavaScript 均包含在安装包内，不下载或执行远程 JavaScript 或 WebAssembly；汇率请求使用 HTTPS。
有限使用声明：SOHO TAB 对通过 Google API 获得的信息的使用将遵守 Chrome Web Store 用户数据政策，包括有限使用要求。相关信息仅用于提供已经披露的用户功能，不会用于广告或为无关目的进行传输。
7. 政策变更与联系
